Chintan @ IIML

As we are finishing our first month at IIM Lucknow, there are mixed feeling. Actually make it only a single feeling. We are tired, sleepless and most of us are way behind then what has been taught in the classroom.

 

Our subjects are quite varied.This is the code module, hence we can not skip anything. There is Marketing, Operations, QAB etc.. Sometimes it looks like that we are having information overload.

 

There have been quite a few eye opening sessions. e.g. we have had a session where multiple career options were discussed. Honestly, though I have been in IT industry for close to 12 years now, I still do not know so many things. That class confused me and made me think. What do I want to do?

 

More on that philosophical question later.

 

My favorite subject? Actually quite difficult to understand. There are so many of them. :). Accounting, Eco to a certain extent QAB.

 

There are so many things that I want to do in this one year. This is the only year when I can do something which i would have not been able to otherwise.

 

1 year MBA at IIM Lucknow, IPMX has started.

I am me.

I am hopelessly optimistic person, who never believes that everything has been lost.

I am lazy. I can sleep for 16 hours and still feel that i need to sleep for 15 minutes more.

I am confused. I am still searching for what I want to do in my life.

I am at IIM Lucknow.

I am romantically hopeless. My wife keeps on complaining about it always.

Sometimes, even I do not know from where do I get the energy do some of the stuff I do sometimes. for other most of the times, refer #3.

I am trying to break free and do something.
